Normal sudoku rules apply. Cells separated by a single knightâs move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit. A cell marked as a MAX cell (wedges pointing outward) is larger than all orthogonal and diagonal neighbours; a cell marked as a MIN cell (wedges pointing inward) is smaller than all orthogonal and diagonal neighbours. All possible MAX and MIN cells are shown. Cells marked with a cage are either BIG or SMALL; a BIG/SMALL cell is larger/smaller than its orthogonal neighbors but is not larger/smaller than at least one diagonal neighbour. (In other words, a BIG/SMALL cell cannot be a MAX/MIN cell.) All possible BIG and SMALL cells are shown. Whether a marked cell is BIG or SMALL must be determined by the solver. Somewhere in the grid is a single magic square made from nine distinct digits arranged in a square such that every row, column, and diagonal of the square sum to the same total.
